Welcome to the 心理学系
The 心理学系 at 德克萨斯南方大学 (TSU) has two-degree programs in psychology, one undergraduate degree, the 文学士(学士.A.), 和 one graduate degree, the 文学硕士(M.A.). The Department also offers a minor in psychology for students pursuing undergraduate degrees in other majors at TSU.

任务
The mission of the 心理学系 is to contribute to the development of an individual who has assumed a productive role in society upon completion of a liberal arts education. To fulfill its mission, the 心理学系 imparts:
1. 知识, 技能, 和 values related to the science 和 application of psychology; 和
2. 知识, 技能, 和 values consistent with a liberal arts education that are further enhanced by the discipline of psychology. After successful completion of the curriculum plan in psychology, students will:
a. demonstrate familiarity with the major concepts, 理论观点, 实证研究结果, 和 historical trends in psychology;
b. apply basic research methods in psychology, 包括研究设计, 数据分析, 和解释;
